Medical liability under UAE law (Arabic Language – AED 400)

Medical Liability in the UAE is regulated by Law no. 4 of 2016 followed by UAE Cabinet resolution no. 40 of 2019 concerning the executive regulations of the said law. They apply to the medical professionals as well as healthcare providers registered in the UAE.
In this course, we will tackle the following topics:

1) How to file a medical malpractice complaint?
2) Role of the medical liability committee and the procedure applicable before it;
3) Requirements to prove the medical liability of the practicing professional;
4) Liability of the healthcare facility or hosting service provider;
5) Subrogation of the insurance companies to the rights and obligations of the healthcare facilities and the insured professionals.
