Cyber threats are impacting organisations across sectors and geographies. Information or security breaches can potentially lead to significant financial and reputational damage – it is now one of the top challenges and business imperatives across the globe.
Course aims
This course introduces some of the basic concepts and key definitions related to cyber threats and measures to undertake in order to protect information and assets, at an individual or organisation level. This is in context of the overall supporting legal frameworks operating internationally and within the GCC. The course flags the vulnerability of the legal sector to cyber threats and why legal firms are targets. The course also provides insightful case examples related to the legal profession for which it is tailored.
