Enforcement of Foreign Arbitral Awards

This course will cover the recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards. An overview of the New York Convention and the Geneva Convention will also be provided in order to understand the general principles governing recognition and enforcement of foreign arbitral awards.
The course will also highlight and provide a comparison of how the Courts have dealt with enforcement in the UAE and UK. The various challenges in the process of enforcement will also be discussed.
