Economic Substance Regulation in the UAE

The Economic Substance Regulations (ESR) were introduced in April 2019. Significant changes were enacted under the Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 57 of 2020 issued in August 2020 and updated Guidelines were issued by the Ministry of Finance (MoF) by way of Ministerial Decision No. 100 of 2020.
